Customs: Russia’s foreign trade surplus rises by 70% in Jan–Aug
MOSCOW, Oct 11 (PRIME) -- Russia’s foreign trade surplus grew by 70% on the year to U.S. $111.4 billion in January–August, the Federal Customs Service said on Monday.
Exports rose 41.4% to $299.7 billion, and imports increased 29.3% to $188.3 billion.
Russia’s foreign trade turnover grew by 36.5% on the year to $488 billion in the period.
